Within Polina Zioga's solo exhibition "The Shelter", curated by Zoe Fragoulopoulou, at Fournos Center for Digital Culture, the harpist Maria-Christina presented on June 26 2012, a musical performance with works of hers and George Dousis' for harp and electronics.

Inside the internal environment of "The Shelter" the external allurement of this musical instrument gives its place to an inner course of introspection towards the "Dark side of the Harp". The seductive voices of the video installation, who narrate Heraclitus’ text, fade away in order to give their place to sounds and musical improvisations, connected with subconscious processes, hidden and dark thoughts. The dreamy sound of the electroacoustic harp inside the evocative environment of the video projections is mingled with musical whispers and distant shouts with the help of bows, sound effects and electronics.

Στο πλαίσιο της ατομικής έκθεσης της Πωλίνας Ζιώγα "Το Καταφύγιο", σε επιμέλεια της Ζωής Φραγκουλοπούλου, στον Φούρνο Κέντρο για τον Ψηφιακό Πολιτισμό, η αρπίστα Μαρία-Χριστίνα πραγματοποίησε την Τρίτη 26 Ιουνίου μια μουσική παράσταση με έργα της ίδιας και του Γιώργου Δούση για άρπα και ηλεκτρονικά.

Μέσα στο εσωτερικό περιβάλλον του “Καταφύγιου” η εξωτερική γοητεία του μουσικού αυτού οργάνου δίνει τη θέση της σε μια εσωτερική πορεία ενδοσκόπησης προς την "Σκοτεινή πλευρά της Άρπας". Οι σαγηνευτικές φωνές της βιντεοεγκατάστασης, που αφηγούνται το κείμενο του Ηράκλειτου, σβήνουν για να δώσουν τη θέση τους σε ήχους και μουσικούς αυτοσχεδιασμούς, που συνδέονται με διεργασίες του ασυνείδητου, κρυφές και σκοτεινές σκέψεις. Ο ονειρικός ήχος της ηλεκτροακουστικής άρπας μέσα στο υποβλητικό περιβάλλον των βιντεοπροβολών αναμιγνύεται με μουσικούς ψιθύρους και μακρινές κραυγές με την βοήθεια δοξαριών, ηχητικών εφέ και ηλεκτρονικών.
